Applications for Young Investigator Award to be presented at IBEC meeting 2018

Applications are open for the IBEC Young Investigator Award to be presented at the 2018 International Conference on the Biochemistry of Exercise to be held in Beijing, China October 23-25.

Rules for nominations for the Young Investigator Award are presented next.

The applicant must at that time be under 35 years of age and must not have received the prize earlier.

The application has two parts:
1) an original research paper in the field of biochemistry of exercise published or accepted for publication between January 1, 2015 and December 31, 2017
2) If the applicant is not the first or the last author of the paper, it must be verified by signed declarations by the co-authors that the applicant had the major influence on the study and the resulting article

By applying to this call, the candidate commits if successful, to be present to the IBEC 2018 (Beijing, October 23-25, 2018) to receive the award and present his/her main results.

The evaluation of applicants is based on the scientific quality of the paper.

The jury members are the members of the International Research Group except if the members who have a conflict of interest.

The jury decides which paper is the best.
